Tomorrow I will be creating stepping stones with six wonderful women!! I will be having another class on Sunday April 27th from 9-2 if anyone is interested, I have 2 more spaces open. You will learn about design, colors, cutting glass or ceramic pieces, mixing cement and sand, using supportive infra structure, and finishing techniques including sealing the piece for long life and enjoyment. Give me a call or drop me an email to reserve your space and learn more of the details. Happy Easter everyone enjoy this gorgeous weather we are having!!
I have been on a mermaid kick and I have two gorgeous mermaids over at Sand Dollar Gallery here in Denver.
Each one: is a one of a kind; created with a casted glass face; a different color combination of glass and ceramic pieces; and very distinct personality. I have created them as a kind of angel and mermaid combination, with wings and fin like tail.
Be on the look out for more of these at my up coming shows this summer.
So take a break, ride your bike, take a walk, just go over and check out Nancy Condit’s Gallery. It is at 1256 S. Pearl, Denver CO 80210, 1/2 block north of Louisiana on S. Pearl St. She is open from 12-5 Tuesday to Saturday, or by appointment. She has all kinds of wonderful gift items for weddings and Mother’s day.
I am on a recycling kick! This piece is made from cut up tin cans, nailed onto a wood base. I was literally pounding out my frustrations with money and life. It came out pretty cool though. I have some summer shows coming upon May and June and August stay tuned for dates and times! I hope life is treating you all well!!
